Prototyping a new blog, maybe…

Wednesday, May 18th, 2011

First off, it's here: http://blog.seanrees.com. New Blogger-driven prototype blog. I realized that I enjoy writing, but I don't like the overhead of managing my own WordPress instance or the prospect of cleaning up several years of posts. So, I'm starting fresh. No guarantees I'll keep it current, but you never know. :)

Oh, my blog, how I’ve abandoned you

Monday, May 16th, 2011

Dear Blog, I've been a very poor care taker of you. I post once a month, maybe; and, when I do, I post uninteresting stuff like the tale of my trip back to California. I don't, through you, even tell the story of my trip to Berlin, Belfast, or Wales, or ...

I've revved the blog template again. My compliments to Bob for his excellent Big Blue theme. It made an excellent base for this blog. The blog URL has changed once again, back to http://www.seanrees.com. For those of you subscribed, please update your feed readers. Cheers.

Selling Out and Money Grubbing

Thursday, November 17th, 2005

I'm a sell-out and money grubber. So, here's the deal. If you run IE, you can't see this site (nor this message, for that matter) anymore. Myles has figured out a clever workaround to this, but if you run IE with that workaround, I presume you to be smart enough to ...

New Blog and Stuff

Saturday, July 9th, 2005

Well, I did promise (at least, I think I promised. I may or may not have actually articulated said promise on the blog though...) that there would be a revision to the venerable sean's place this summer. I attacked it early and moved the entire operation over to WordPress. On comments, ...

Trackbacks Disabled

Thursday, April 7th, 2005

Due to the massive amount of trackback spam (which escapes the De-Spammer I use), I have disabled all trackbacks. Since they hardly went used anyway, I suspect nobody will miss 'em.
