Feelin’ Chilly?

Sunday, August 26th, 2007

Saw this delightful sign today at Denver International. Who knew there were flights to the great icy south -- from Denver? Interestingly, this terminal had no passengers-in-waiting, nor a gate agent. One suspects that this is not a very popular route... :-)

Frezzled

Wednesday, August 8th, 2007

From time to time, I refer to Fresno as 'Fresburg.' When I do this, I tend to refer to it by its new name for a sustained period, followed by a brief respite that eventually gives way back to the original name. I am not alone in this. In other news: I ...

Crash. Omen?

Tuesday, August 7th, 2007

Ran into this gem at Fresno International (FAT, KFAT) this past Sunday. All United/SkyWest terminals were similarly dysfunctional. Luckily, this was not an omen for my otherwise perfect flight.

Saturday, January 13th, 2007

I mean, do people hire you to just entertaine, spout insperation, or are they non-humorist related? [Scott Adams] A. I took the Dale Carnegie course. It was amazing. Otherwise it’s ...

Happy New Year

Monday, January 1st, 2007

Welcome to 2007! Myles, Kim, and I ushered in the new year in a dramatic booze-induced haze. It all started with a festive display on my kitchen table of various forms of liquor, wine, pizza, and snacks. There was beer in the fridge, too. Without going into gory detail, lets just ...
