B in Compilers

Tuesday, March 15th, 2005

I got a B in compilers, and an 86% on my final project. Not too shabby for not finishing the project :) (although I did really try...)

Scratch it All

Friday, March 11th, 2005

Scratch it all. I was several weeks behind in compilers, mostly due to CSC 300 slamming me mid-quarter. Oh well. That's no big deal. For the past few weeks, I've been working to catch up, only to be moving at what could be accurately described as a snail's pace. I worked my ...

Break-time Blogging

Thursday, March 10th, 2005

I have a ridiculous setup for my compiler coding (which, by the way, is now compiling stuff correctly for the most part). I'm running my eclipse session on my Linux box (in the closet), but sending its display over the network to my Mac (haven, oooh...), and compiling the source ...

Some Words of Update…

Thursday, March 3rd, 2005

First and foremost, my compiler now generates correct SPARC code for simple programs. I have to fix a few bugs: Implement unimplemented features in the ILOC to SPARC translator. Traveling and Stuff

Saturday, January 22nd, 2005

I have to say that I love my Mom, but she plays the guilt card like a pro. You see, my Dad wants me to come up and help wire up his new office in Folsom. So I said "yeah, OK... how's the end of February? I have a three-day ...

Nine Ball

Thursday, January 20th, 2005

Played a few rounds of pool today with Paul and David. Paul and I played 6 rounds of nine ball in about 35 minutes; I won the set 5 games to 1. When David finally showed up, I won cut throat + CC playing 11 to 15. The beautiful thing was ...

And how!

Sunday, January 16th, 2005

This quarter has been quite the ride so far. I fear I may have bitten off more than I can chew; but the upside is that I have a lot to do, and I enjoy doing it all (except the Physics homework, which sucks.) I'm working 18 hours a week and ...
