Moving Tricks II

Boxes!Buy moving boxes.

If you choose to not buy, acquire a collection of identically-sized boxes. If you can, purchase a few varietes of such (ideally you’d get more than 1 of each variety…) for varying storage needs. They stack so much easier!

For this trip, I sprung a leak in my wallet to the tune of about $130 to acquire (I hope) the moving boxes I require. They come in 3 sizes: medium, large, and über. The picture shows my office and computer gear (mostly office gear) stacked somewhat neatly in the “medium variety.” The bigger box on the floor is “large.” Having a supply of boxes readily available and in quantity has been awesome as are the aforementioned stacking properties.

I’m told that careful labeling is also very wise. We shall see.

Moving is looking good. Will be starting off with Myles’s help the week after Labor Day. Cheers.
