Cellular Voicemail

April 2nd, 2007 | by Sean |

At any given moment (outside of the office), I’m likely to be carrying two cell phones. In my pocket is a Motorola v551 on the Cingular/at&t network and a BlackBerry 7250 hangs off my belt connected to Verizon Wireless.

One note: Verizon’s voicemail system is far better than Cingular’s. Case in point: you can delete an annoying message by pressing ‘7′ while the message plays. On Cingular, you have to press a button to stop playback and then delete the recording. To top things off, the Cingular system is slow to respond, unlike Verizon’s.

Point to Verizon for their voicemail system.

Negative point to the Blackberry for not combining the missed call and voicemail notification messages.
