Bits of Randomness

I have no resolution regarding blogging, but all the same, I think I’d like to share a bit more wordage to the world. Perhaps it’ll help me put my world into context. I take a lot of value from writing; it helps organize my thoughts and put recent events into perspective.

I’m typing this on my new (work-owned) MacBook Pro. This is a phenomenal laptop. It’s an absolute joy to use; and this is a good thing, because a computer that’s a joy to use makes work come much easier. I’ve spent portions of my Saturday working on my work projects. Hopefully this laptop will help me get me get more work done and help my team push out more good stuff to our customers.

More randomness – I’m going to Seattle at the end of the month. I’m gonna go visit Shane and perhaps Erick and hopefully have a good bit of fun for a weekend. I’m really looking forward to it; been looking to travel to far-away (farther than driving distance) places. Ireland in May or June.

My laptop is just about finished building SVN. Time to go back to work.
