An Update for Lyle

May 30th, 2006 | by Sean |

I am told that I should update my blog. In fact, I believe a one Lyle Kozloff has told me this. So, to you Lyle, I dedicate this blog entry.

Work is good - and enjoyable most of the time. I’m doing some J2EE stuff now, which is kind of a drag, but that’s combined with some Linux work and some RoR work - so life isn’t too bad. I’ve also been scaling back my hours to a more reasonable amount (45-50 a week rather than 50-60) - this cuts into my OT pay, but oh well.

“OT Pay?”, you might ask, “aren’t you salaried?” The answer is, of course, yes. It’s really more of a payment floor, minimum wage if you will. I get OT above and beyond my salary, which rules.

Other notable events lately:

  • Myles and Kim (Mybo and Fortress) moved to Fresno.
  • Sarah moved some of her stuff in.
  • I got a couch.
  • I paid off one of my credit cards.
  • I am going to be walking at the Engineering commencement on the 10th.

That’s it.
