Musings from Fresno

Here I am, in lovely Fresno… actually, it is rather pretty this time of year. The snow-capped mountains, although hazy in the distance, are quite the sight to behold. Anyhoo, I’m sitting here, setting up my laptop to start grading (this laptop is woefully understocked in the emacs department, wonder how I let THAT happen?)

I signed the lease at my new apartment yesterday. As of 3/18/2006, I will live on Willow Ave in Clovis, CA. I’m setting up utilities and stuff (like DSL, which I hope to have turned on when I actually move in). I’m still deciding if I want to get cable or risk a satellite appointment. I’m not allowed to add external antennae, but I think I can probably just have it installed on my balcony. I would really prefer to have Dish Network over Comcast. Anyhoo, I scored a modest-sized two-bedroom apartment for $759/month. :)

    Whoa your really going to be close to Cal State Fresno. That must be interesting.
