A little bit of back story: Alex and Max like to climb up my shelves and up into the nether regions of my closet. I sought, originally, to prevent this activity. I finally yielded to their demands (and creativity in finding new ways up and down) and kitten-proofed the appropriate items. The little explorers might have bitten off more than they could chew though…
