Coffee Overload

April 20th, 2004 | by Sean |

My mom must be tracking cosmic chance. It just so happened last Thursday, I noticed I was dangerously low on coffee beans. I immediately placed an order for a supply of Mocha Java from my local place and prepared to wait out the weekend sans cafe.

Miraculously, a package arrived that same day with, you guessed it, coffee! My Dad was gifted two pounds of Espresso Roma’s Private Blend from one of his friends. My parents don’t drink a lot of coffee, so Mom just mailed it to me with a cute note. Thanks Mom! It’s not just coffee – it’s good coffee. :)

Of course, that means I’d have a yet another pound of Mocha Java come Monday. I take great care in the storage of my coffee – only air-tight sealed containers in cool, dry, dark places. In this case, I was forced to freeze some beans (in air-tight containers) to preserve them for later. I think I have enough to go the rest of the quarter.

Anyway, feel free to come over for coffee. I’ll supply the cafe in excess, especially if you bring the biscotti :)
