Fighting with the MT Template

I’m highly annoyed at the MoveableType template I’m using. It looks great but it’s over reliance on stylesheets makes it really hard to modify. If I get some time on the upcoming holiday, I’ll rewrite it and probably revamp MT to produce PHP, to add that extra layer of dynamicness.

I don’t know exactly how my changes will turn out, but it’ll be less reliant on stylesheets. While stylesheets are great for controlling the look and feel (I can change almost everything on the page with the stylesheet), it’s really a pain to make everything work the way I want.

So, some transitional HTML 4 will be written. I think seanrees.com v5.0 will be developed with a MT backend. I think that’s the best solution overall. It’s great too, since I love MT.
